Fantasy . Aomar Chenaai Aomar Chenaai
The Fantasia means different traditional horse shows simulated military attacks, carried mainly in North Africa, where it is called "powder game" or "horse play".
It most often takes the form of equestrian developments during which horsemen, armed with rifles, black powder and overlapping frames richly caparisoned, simulate a cavalry charge which is the culmination of a coordinated launch a salvo of their firearms. It may also, depending on the region, be enforced camel or on foot.
Heir of horsemanship Turkish-Arab-Berber, the practice is attested from the sixteenth century. Reported in the late eighteenth century by the testimony of passengers in the Maghreb, it is formally known, and take the name of Fantasia, 1832, by Eugene Delacroix and the pictures he makes. She later became one of the favorite subjects of the most famous Orientalist painters like Eugene Fromentin and Maria Fortuny ..
