The painting is from a series of portraits in glass, all representing unique characters by their unique standardized technique of creation. The dripping
allows me to create expressive traits, fluid, flowing expressiveness. These characters all seem overwhelmed, discouraged, sorrowful, their features are my stifled ignored. Their creation allows me to let me shine, it's a kind of painting therapy. In my latest work, I try to mix different mediums: painting glycero, spray paint, vinyl ... These overlays allow me to play with the plans, interfere with the reading of the character, to hide certain parts of his face. These faces are always limits the scope of the medium used, as they are channeled, sublimate their environments but choke, they seem to overflow, get out.
