This sculpture I made on a piece of stone that made me think of a fragment of ruin, a remnant found beneath the desert sand. I wanted to pay tribute to the pharaoh and king of black Napata Taharka. This relief is carved in direct carving in stone, it is beige and veined with various hues. To the relief I work in front and once the sculpture I boucharde the rest of the stone to get a contrast to give the impression that the sculpture out of stone.

Very interesting work with a motive from late period of old Egypt (here on sculpture written in hieroglyphs as Chunefertemre) the powerful Nubia-Egypt King Taharqa. In the symbolic of this work can feel the power of this black King. Well done.
