This very nice work told from the Greek mythology, Icarus
:
Icarus and Daedalus were imprisoned as punishment for the Ariadne's thread in the labyrinth of King Minos of the Minotaur in Crete. Since Minos controlled the maritime and the land, Daedalus invented wings for himself and his son. This spring he fastened with wax on a rod. Before starting he sharpened one Icarus not to fly too high nor too low, as would otherwise lead the heat of the sun or the humidity of the sea to crash. At first everything went well, but after they passed Samos and Delos on the left and the right Lebinthos, Icarus was cocky and up rose so high that the sun melted the wax of his wings, the feathers loosened and he fell into the sea.
