Rare pair of armchairs in solid walnut designed by Jean Maurice Rotschild (born in 1902) covered with Aubusson tapestry designed by Emile Gaudissart for the First class suite of the French Ocean liner Liberté in 1950. They have been manufactured by the famous Spade and Lebrun studio. They have been bought in the special furniture of liner auction
sale in Le Havre the 08/01/1962. Perfect condition, they have always their fastening on the bottom. Dimensions: 31«1/2 high overall 17«1/4 sitting high 27«1/2 width 28«3/4.
