:: The concept ::

Based firmly on the philosophies put forward by two of the foremost world relegions, hinduism and buddhism regarding re incarnation. This extremely intricately detailed piece here compares and at places fuses the explanations from both the relegions on the chosen subject.
€login _ expired. >>> Nirvana achieved “ features
Symbols and icons from both the relegions and their religious iconography, more so their cultural fabric. You will find the mandala from te sacred thangkha paintings of tibet, and the mantra “om padmonisa vimale hum phat”. All buddhists believe that the one who reads, chants, hears, sees or touches this mantra gets rid of rebirth into a lower realm. The nandi bull, and the shoulder from one of the hindu goddesses fused with another one from the brit-japanese fashion model devon aoki. She is herself half buddhist half christian… Another hybrid!

And the modern symbolisms that play a vital role in depicting the concept my way… Such as the 1867 german typewriter, the skulls of australopithecus robustus excavated in south africa, the parsons chameleon from madagaskar, the scarab beetle, and the loon x-ray from new england.

All this plethora of icons and symbols from the length and
Breadth of the world crossing centuries of tradition and
Beleifs have then been composed in a way that very minutely balances colour, form and function (concept) at the same time not losing out on its aesthetic appeal, the wow ! Factor, as I put it. Every ball, line, grid, wireframe, graphic and text has been deliberately measured and positioned to maintain that delicate equilibrium. Equilibrium here doesn’t amount to symmetry. Symmetry is boring.
The grid at the bottom all across the length of the artwork
Symbolises the lifeline of a soul. Each login_session, as I view it, represents one life which may have been spent in the body of a loon, a beetle, a chameleon, or australopithecus robustus to mention a few. Both relegions are unanimous in the belief that the human realm is the best as it allows one to contemplate and commit positive karma, thus leading to enlightenment, thereby ceasing the recurring cycle of rebirth. Hence, the homo sapiens skull at login_ session

Thirty one, (31, because there are are 31
Realms of reincarnation according to the tibetian buddhism. )

This symbolises the reincarnation of the soul into the human
