Furniture Walnut Petrin original Gard in France.
; carved facade, is the Roman aqueduct, the "Pont du Gard."
This furniture was once used to knead the bread dough on the tray. In the trunk, located below the drawer, the baker let the dough rest, protected from light, dust and predators (mice - rats - ants - etc ...)
Once the dough has risen, it furnace charge was in the oven and when done cooking, put the baker's bread in a panatière, wall mounted again in height to preserve it from predators.

Copies may be made with a custom sculpture, in a different wood species and different style.

Available with a wide drawer at the bottom - two drawers separated by a central pillar or three drawers.
