Christian Self Portrait Bizeul. Christian Bizeul Pedro
Born in 1947 in Germany of a Breton father and a German mother, Christian Bizeul is an endearing character, sensitive and poetic chose to live and create in Moselle.
Bizeul draws its inspiration from the man, particularly in the biblical and mythological themes of Art History. The artist loves the dance of death, revisits Adam and Eve, the vanities. Everywhere arise demons, angels and skeletons. These themes are the expression of the range of human passions, agitations, excesses, inequality, everything that eats away the social body and the heart of things.
Bizeul began with abstract compositions, in the 70s he made a laceration on canvas work free, including painted signs that are structured to train rhythms, repetitions. Today's work is complemented by the representation: in addition to signs the human body and its affects. The work of laceration has been replaced by a collage work, drawing and painting, his studies focus on the latest engraving plexiglass which captures the transparency. From his earliest works to those of today, there are a search light and a fascination for the movement ..
