I was extremely sick during the painting of this exhibit.
Having failed at my first attempt I decided to paint gold enamel paint over the original work leaving three centred squares which pleased me during this difficult time. I have revisited this painting many times and found the colours most satisfying, especially when the sunlight hits the opal colours. This painting has been very much part of my full recovery.
