Diprotodon Table. Robert Johnson Robert Johnson

Diprotodon Table was inspired by the ancient and extinct giant Australian marsupial. The table features fabulous ancient earth materials from the mineral treasure trove at the continent's western side.
Amazing stones from two iconic regions of the Australian heartland - the Kimberley and the Pilbara - are inlaid in the egg-curve table top.
The most ancient rocks to be found on earth are from the Archaean Eon - Noreena Jasper belongs in this category, being formed during the geological dawn 2.8 billion years ago. This stunning mudstone (silicified pelite) was only discovered quite recently in the primeval landscapes of the Pilbara. Primordial Rock, a strikingly beautiful riverine siltstone, was formed during the Primordial Period 1.2 billion years ago and is unique to the Kimberley in north western Australia.
The rich red timber table/diprotodon legs are Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) hardwood from the southwest of Western Australia.
