This is one of my latest mid-sized ink drawings of a dragon & not the first time I've added a splash or two of colour to good effect.
I felt that the weeds draping the mighty beast would brighten the page & add an extra dimension to my drawing - Something that could easily have been a disaster after the weeks of work done with assorted Rotring Pens. Happily though, the outcome was just as I'd envisioned, so this has become one of my favourite Dragon Illustrations
