A traveller/pilgrim passes through a landscape. In this instance the traveller/pilgrim is in the depths of a forest. The scene is taken from the artist's imagination but the locale actually exists, it is deep within the Northumberland Forest Park some 20 miles (32 km) east of Kielder.
