Marc of foxes was completed in 2011 in oils on canvas. It is a direct influence and tribute to the works of the German Expressionist painter, Franz Marc who sadly was prematurely killed in the First World War. Marc originally created a fox inspired semi abstract work on which Ian based and developed this painting.
