I found that creating a piece of art that speaks about the real life in the Middle East and contains a message of peace should be based on what is common between the 3 coexistent religions (Jewish, Christian and Muslim). So I choose the common words between Hebrew, Syriac and Arabic pronounced and written in almost similar way, and try to draw them, mixing different styles: Graffiti style, Pop Art, Iconography and the old Islamic art. And each piece contains 2 layers: 1- Abstract layer : the word itself is fragmented by lines and curves and these to express the production of various sounds of one word when said by people. As mentioned before that words are drawn not written, making the graphic representation as important as the definition. 2- Figurative layer: which defines the meaning, through the use of pop colors and other modern way of expression.
