Vortex Viper is a Contemporary Urban Pop Artist, born in Brazil and grew up in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. What’s unique about Brasília is that, unlike most capital cities in the world, it was founded in the modern era, 1960 to be exact. It’s a mid-century looking city. Today, these buildings are seen as icons of modern architecture. Growing up in this city, gave Viper a huge visual taste for lines, colors, sleek spaces, textures, and ambiances.
From an early age, Viper loved making art, music, and films. Viper was powerfully drawn to the American dream. In 1995 Viper moved to Los Angeles, to study photography, cinematography, drawing, film, and editing. After working many years creating, directing and editing music videos and films Viper merged into mixed media paintings with a distinct style, that blends pop and street art. Many years of hard work and training coming full circle.
