Mandala6 is a 2019 digital mandala. Built with fractal, painting and flame software, the original is printed on metallic paper and bonded to the backside of clear plexiglas 30«x30». Concentric rings pull us in closer to the other-worldly center. We wonder if this is a view through a microscope or a kaleidoscope, a port hole or a window. Influences are symmetry, domed rotunda ceilings and science fiction. I built a limited series of black and white symmetrical mandalas, available here as reproductions on different surfaces and sizes.
