Aphrodite v3 is my 2019 digital portrayal of the goddess of love and beauty. Known as Venus to the Romans, this is an updated version of Titian's Venus of Urbino. This series celebrates and builds on the life and adventures of the goddess of love. My version employs digital photography, wrapped in fractal software layers, rendered to look as though she is tattooed, lounging above a symmetrical, powerful energy source… Is it a mandala on the ground? Another powerful god like her? Sensual and seductive but cold and detached, it is a puzzle. The original is 1 of 1.30w«x20h» and unavailable.
