About the piece:

Yelling Horse

This is a beautiful piece of work done by ArtGuru. Artist Gurmej SinGh, often referred to as ArtGuru, is a healer and a mentor. He is also distinguished for using various techniques and styles in his art. He invented LatroArt painting and drawing and has developed his style of drip painting, creating images by artfully dripping paint. He also produces many other pieces such as this one.

Pictures may look different in different monitor screens. White backgrounds may generally look gray in the images. Some pieces may have minor wear and tear due to aging. Also, the artist’s signature may be in a different location than the picture shows.

A letter from the artist:

Hello brothers and sisters, lovers and fans my work.
First of all, I want to tell you how grateful I am to have you all to appreciate my work. I am indebted to you for life. Thank you for being supportive of my art ideas and concepts that have led to my success as an artist. Not to mention, thank you for buying my paintings and allowing me a lifetime to share with you my inner and outer self and not to forget all those beautiful moments I had all through my painting success.
I am so blessed, and it is a great honor that you consider my work for your gorgeous home. Thank you so much for your compassion, excellent testimonials, compliments, and appreciation. All I can say, life is great because of all the love that I get from all of you. At times it is so ecstatic that tears of joy slip out of my eyes, and I cannot hold them in anymore. Thank you! !
I grew up in a small village in India and had spent much time in the nearby jungle interacting with nature and its beauty. During that time, I had learned that the real essence of beauty is all around us. Beauty is a positive energy that has a strong effect on our wellbeing. These energies I find in all living and non-living things which also reflects in my work.
My whole objective is to reach out to the broader audience. All recreations and signed prints sell at an affordable price, and the priceless originals are being sold at market value. My goal is to help you acquire a valuable piece of fine art that you can enjoy for many generations to come.
Finally, I invite everyone to check out my website and share it with your family and friends.
Also, you’re welcome to stop at the ArtGuru Foundation to check out the programs offered. The plans currently being offered are free of charge. Our current programs are:
• Adopt a Hobby for Life
• Sitting in Silence
If you want to take a tour of my art studio and watch how I paint the originals and recreation of the originals, please contact me for an appointment.

His contribution:

The reasoning for ArtGuru selling his work goes beyond simply creating for aesthetics, having work shown in a gallery, and making a sale. The work contributes towards funding his non-profit, ArtGuru Foundation.

When ArtGuru became enlightened, he set out on a mission. He was no more the stunt man Artist Singh, but rather the healer and mentor ArtGuru. His mission shifted from making art for a living into spreading personal wisdom, teaching others, and healing those in need. Thus ArtGuru set out to create ArtGuru Foundation.

Currently being funded by ArtGuru himself, ArtGuru Foundation aims to bring art to everyone's life. The purpose of the Foundation is to test and support innovative art ideas, to solve important social problems, and to provide arts advocacy to expand opportunity for all to catalyze the importance of arts in our society.

The Foundation fulfils this purpose by providing classes, programs, and events that combine the yogic philosophy of the east with the western science of art therapy. These programs are funded by ArtGuru and are provided to the general public, especially those looking to heal from depression, muddled thinking, mental crisis, and etc.

When someone shows compassion and purchases a work of art, they are helping provide opportunities for those in need. Every piece of work done by ArtGuru is considered as a collector's item. To view his work, please visit the gallery on the website.

Artistic philosophy:

Is thought a mystifying order or disorder?

Gazing around the universe, we see countless examples of order and disorder–with disorder on the rise. Indeed, entropy is the fate of everything in the physical world. My goal is to tap into this concept as it pertains to human thought and emotion.

Are deep depression, muddled thinking, mental crisis, and mental breakdown examples of entropy? What is it that holds most people’s minds and emotions together? If the universe is made up of tiny hard particles in constant motion, then what makes up thought? Is thought a mystifying order or disorder?

My paintings depict emotional and physical pain in a sympathetic manner. You know that many people suffer these kinds of pain and have to deal with pain as best they can. Yogis seem to be able to transcend pain through mind control, but only a few people are expert at that. I have done some physically challenging stuff like being buried alive or standing at the top of a pole for hours, and mind control has helped me do these difficult things.

In my work, order has the highest value. Anything that is in certain arrangement is in order and counts as a proof of beauty. So can we can establish that when thoughts and things are in certain order the end result is beauty. But the biggest question of all is how much order can one possibly attain when the disorder is on the rise.

A word of wisdom:

In the past, I have often been the subject of controversy. I can tell you that it is such an honor to know that success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.
