Mirror window is a 2019 Paul Pinzarrone digital mandala construction. Built with fractal, painting and flame software, the original is printed on high gloss aluminum, 1 of 1 30«x30». Concentric circles pull us in closer to the core that appears to be port hole to view another planet. This could be a view through a microscope, a kaleidoscope or a telescope. Is it what we see when looking up at the rotunda of an Italian church? Closer examination suggests a geometrical garden. My influences on this piece are radial symmetry, doilies and modified mandalas. Reproductions of mirror window on different surfaces and sizes are available here.
