Reclining venus 4 is a digitally manipulated photograph of a reclining Venus. This is my 2020 version of the goddess of beauty, fertility and victory. The Greeks knew her as Aphrodite. Built with digital photography, fractal, painting and flame software, the original is printed on metallic paper and mounted to the back side of plexiglas. We are pulled in closer to this other-worldly puzzle. We wonder where this is, why is she tattooed like this and what is happening? Influences are symmetry, gardens, tattoos, fractals and mythology.
