This penitent magdalene v7K is an updated version of Titian, Caravaggio and LaTour's works. This series has covered over a year of my work. This version employs modern materials, fractal tattoos, an expressionless Magdalene and a mysterious puzzle. Why is she tattooed like this? She is sensual but not seductive, modest and cold, attractive but emotionless. She sits over a mysterious mandala floor force field, casting no shadow. Rendered to look photographic, we wonder where this is and whether we have seen this before in a dream. The Penitent Magdalene v7K is a high resolution digital work, built with photography, fractal, flame and painting software. The master is printed on metallic paper on the back side of plexiglas, 30«x30». Reproductions at assorted sizes and surfaces are presented here.
