Danae receiving the blue rain is my 2018 version of Titian's 1553 painting of the mating of Zeus with Danae. This version is built with digital photography, fractal, flame and painting software at high resolution. This piece is a mysterious puzzle: she appears to be floating without a shadow in a blue dream like environment, in front of a symmetrical mandala. Why is she tattooed with fractal patterns? This appears to be taking pace in another world, a dream world. Reproductions are available here on assorted surfaces and sizes.
