Digital painting inspired by ghost tales and by magnificent autumn colors in the Italian Apennines.
This painting comes from a live sketch made in Rocca Calascio location (Abruzzo - Italy) in autumn 2019. In the picture a lady goes up to the ruined castle. Maybe she’s a ghost who returns to his former home, or the image of a dream… The background was chosen to simulate the warm tones and irregularities of the painting on a wooden board. The technique is a digital version of the watercolour and gouache combination.
