There is no image of the English countryside that is not complemented by a cottage-type house whose charm is lost in time. The origin of the old English cottage, refers to the old agricultural communities. These communities were made up of large rustic cabins bordered by wild green areas that served as recreational patios, orchards, or medicinal gardens.
Today many of these charming houses have been converted into cozy hotels with a few rooms, like this «Green Dragon Inn» dating from the 17th century.
