Yunus Emre poet and dervish. Françoise-Elisabeth Lallemand Françoise-Elisabeth Lallemand

The table had been prepared for a contest but the fabric is not dry, it has not been sent.

Personal evocation of the great Sufi poet Yunus Emre and Turkish dervish who lived in the thirteenth century. He left a considerable body of work, more than 1.600 poems in her life but we do not know much. He tried to erase all traces. Several places in Turkey claim his tomb. His poems chanted in monasteries, mosques, put to music and sung, almost always transmitted from generation to generation, belong to a popular heritage.

Une oeuvre superbe. J'aime ce foisonnement de fleurs blanche et d'oiseaux autour du poète.

God permeates the whole wide world.
Yet His truth is revealed to none.
You better seek Him in yourself.
You and He aren't apart-you're one.

Come, let us all be friends for once, Let us make life easy on us, Let us be lovers and loved ones, The earth shall be left to no one.

Yunus Emre says to you, pharisee, Make the holy pilgrimage if need be
A hundred times-but if you ask me, The visit to a heart is best of all.

Hak cihâna doludur
Kimseler Hakk'ı bilmez
Onu sen senden iste
Ol senden ayrı olmaz.

Gelin tanış olalım
İşi kolay kılalım
Sevelim sevilelim
Dünya kimseye kalmaz

Yûnus Emre der hoca
Gerekse var bin hacca
Hepisinden eyice
Bir gönüle girmektir.

Congratulations.
Best regards…
