Hello to all, do you know the colored sand? Surely some, but for anyone not familiar with this style of painting I invite you to read the following explanations will give you an overview of the work required to arrive to make a table.
The tables that I present on this blog are all made with colored sand, I color myself the sand, then I do bake, it is then sieved. This is not to paint directly on the sand, but to make tables using sand or natural colored. The canvas was replaced by adhesive polyphane where sand is deposited with a brush. The work is to design and then incised with a cutter precision parts of the drawing to reveal the adhesive. Preparation and execution of each table requires a lot of attention to detail and long hours of work, since once deposited on the sand can no longer remove. No editing is possible, therefore it was not entitled to the mistake and for this reason that the completion of the painting is very long. The finished table is protected by a coating sprayed on the surface. Passion for this art since 1998, I can make landscapes through portraits, animals, still lifes from model or picture.
