Michele Duretête-Brodel, pastel portraits
In 2003, thanks to an encounter with a professional painter, Stéphane Jadot, master of trompe-l'oeil (some paintings have been exhibited at the Musée du Trompe-l'Perigueux eye) and art teacher, painting, if I took the pencil and courses. At first, I mostly drew portraits in pencil and charcoal and is wanting to put color on a reproduction I made the «Girl Reading» by Fragonard, that in early 2006, I discovered pastels and this was a revelation. I like working this technique particularly suited to portraits, my preferred theme first. |
