I've a fragmented background in art but intend to have a looong, productive future.
I studied ceramics and loved sculpture, but didn’t pursue either after school. Many years later at a summer school workshop at Foundation School of Art, Cape Town, I ‘discovered’ life drawing in it’s many varied forms… ”Bodies radiate the passion of thoughts and emotions and so become beacons of our frailty and power” Sarah Simblet uk Now under my teacher Greg Kerr’s watchful eye, I'm exploring colour; abstraction and learning about composition and oils. I research contemporary art all the time and dislike reading what critics write about artists work and prefer to hear how artists interpret themselves. I am only beginning to find my own ‘voice’ which I hope speaks for itself and resonates with you the viewer.
