I was born in a family of artists: sculptur and painters. I always was arounded and influenced by art. As a child I already understood the difficulty of living from art, so I studied to be a translater but I always had to be creative.
1971 I decided to become a ceramiste which I still am. Together with my husband, Hernani Tavares e Sousa, we runned a shop and gallery of our creations: potteries, sculptures, silkpaintings and candles. Until march 2009, we decided to quite the shop because of the rent who became too high. Our plan became reallity when we started 2009 with the construction of our own atelier in our own garden, where soon we will have exhibitions on open air. That is the reason why we could not have other creations to mention on ArtQuid, this will change soon. We will let you know when the works are finished and the exhibition open for visitors.
